Aitemag 20FD: Silane-Treated Synthetic Magnesium Hydroxide with High Purity and Dispersion for Thermoplastics and Polyolefins with Excellent Water Resistance
Aitemag® magnesium hydroxide is a flame retardant product line with ultrafine particle size and enhanced performance-to-cost balance, produced using world- leading manufacturing technologies. All Aitemag products comply with REACH and RoHS
requirements. When used to formulate flame retardant polymers, the Aitemag product provides superior flame retarding and smoke suppression properties. Depending on the polymer system and fire performance requirements, one may choose an Aitemag product of proper characteristics to achieve optimized application performance for the flame retardant compound.
Aitemag 20FD is a synthetic magnesium hydroxide product that is treated with coupling silane. This product has a high cost-performance ratio and the characteristics of high purity, good dispersion and easy flow performance. This product is designed
for use in thermoplastic or cross-linked polyolefins and elastomeric polymers. The product can provide high water-resistance, good retention of wet-aged electrical properties. Aitemag 20FD provides excellent mechanical properties, low-temperature toughness and fire performance.
