Aitemag® magnesium hydroxide is a flame retardant product line with ultrafine particle size and enhanced performance-to-cost balance, produced using world-leading manufacturing technologies. All Aitemag products comply with REACH and RoHS requirements.
When used to formulate flame retardant polymers, Aitemag provides superior flame retarding and smoke suppression properties. Depending on the polymer system and fire performance requirements, you can select the appropriate Aitemag product characteristics to achieve optimized application performance for the flame retardant compound.
Aitemag 10FM2 is a high purity magnesium hydroxide treated with a coupling silane for easy dispersion and enhanced compounding rheology. Designed for use in thermoplastic and cross-linked polyolefins and elastomeric polymers such as SEBS, it can also be used in polyamide 6 and polyamide 6,6. Aitemag 10FM2 delivers excellent mechanical properties, low-temperature performance, and superior compound electrical properties.
