Aitemag 18FM – High-Purity Magnesium Hydroxide Optimized for Thermoplastics, Elastomers & Engineering Polymers with Superior Dispersion & Rheology
Aitemag® magnesium hydroxide is a flame retardant product line with ultrafine particle size and enhanced performance-to-cost balance, produced using world-leading manufacturing technologies. All Aitemag products comply with REACH and RoHS requirements.
When used to formulate flame retardant polymers, Aitemag provides superior flame retarding and smoke suppression properties. Depending on the polymer system and fire performance requirements, you can select an Aitemag product with appropriate characteristics to achieve optimized application performance for the flame retardant compound.

  • High purity magnesium hydroxide treated with coupling silane
  • Excellent dispersion and enhanced compounding rheology
  • Designed for thermoplastic and cross-linked polyolefins, elastomeric polymers (SEBS, PU)
  • Suitable for polyamide 6, polyamide 66, and HIPS
  • Provides good mechanical properties and low-temperature performance
  • Excellent electrical and rheology properties
