Aitemag® magnesium hydroxide is a flame retardant product line with ultrafine particle size and enhanced performance-to-cost balance, produced using world-leading manufacturing technologies. All Aitemag products comply with REACH and RoHS requirements. When used to formulate flame retardant polymers, the Aitemag product provides superior flame retarding and smoke suppression properties.
Aitemag 55ZA2 is a natural magnesium hydroxide that is treated with a fatty acid to provide easy dispersion and enhanced compounding processability. This product is designed for use in thermoplastic polymers including polyolefins and PVC, cross linked polyolefins and elastomeric polymers. This product provides enhanced compounding rheology or processability, good mechanical properties, low moisture pickup, suitable for the LSZH or PVC wire and cable materials.
