Product Overview
Aitemag® magnesium hydroxide is a flame retardant product line with ultrafine particle size and enhanced performance-to-cost balance, produced using world-leading manufacturing technologies. All Aitemag products comply with REACH and RoHS requirements.
When used to formulate flame retardant polymers, Aitemag products provide superior flame retarding and smoke suppression properties. Depending on the polymer system and fire performance requirements, you can choose an Aitemag product with the proper characteristics to achieve optimized application performance for flame retardant compounds.
Aitemag 12PC is a high purity, fine-sized synthetic magnesium hydroxide with polymeric surface treatments, offering easy dispersion and enhanced fire performance via char-forming. This product can be used in thermoplastic or crosslinkable polyolefins and elastomeric polymer systems. Aitemag 12PC may be used at lower-than-normal loading levels to maximize compound processability and mechanical properties without loss in fire performance.
