Aitemag® magnesium hydroxide is a flame retardant product line with ultrafine particle size and enhanced performance-to-cost balance,produced using world-leading manufacturing technologies. All Aitemag products comply with REACH and RoHS requirements. When used to formulate flame retardant polymers, the Aitemag product provides superior flame retarding and smoke suppression properties. Depending on the polymer system and fire performance requirements, one may choose an Aitemag product of proper characteristics to achieve optimized application performance for the flame retardant compound.
Aitemag 10FO is a magnesium hydroxide that is treated with a coupling silane. It has the characteristics of high purity, ultrafine particle size and easy dispersion. This product is designed for use in polyolefins and elastomeric polymers such as SEBS, also can be applied in polyamides such as PA6 and PA66 . Flame retardant polymer materials prepared with Aitemag 10FO will have excellent mechanical properties and fire performance, as well as good processability.
