All Aitemag products comply with REACH and RoHS requirements. When used to formulate flame retardant polymers, the Aitemag product provides superior flame retarding and smoke suppression properties. Depending on the polymer system and fire performance requirements, one may choose an Aitemag product of proper characteristics to achieve optimized application performance for the
flame retardant compound.
Aitemag 55FM is a natural magnesium hydroxide that is treated with a silane to provide easy dispersion and enhanced compounding rheology. This product is designed for use in thermoplastic polyolefins and elastomeric polymers. It can also be used in polyamide 6 and polyamide 66. This product provides excellent compounding processability, mechanical properties, low-temperature performance.
